I love skincare, its so satisfying- even having my products lined up in my little white basket makes me so excited to finish it all step by step so I figured, why not share my products and tips? Just for the blog.
Step 1: Remove makeup or excess dirt and oils
So before I do any kind of skincare, I always use micellar water to clean off all the makeup, dirt, and oils that accumulate during the day. Micellar water helps keep the skin clear and hydrates, and I have drier skin so its pretty helpful. I use the Neutrogena Micellar Water, which you can find at Walmart or Shoppers for about $10. I use a cotton round and I just wipe my face with it to get off any off the bad stuff off.
Step 2: Cleanse
Cleansing is essential because you have to get rid of dirt and oil as well as keeps your pores clear. Usually I use the Neutrogena Grapefruit Cleanser, but in the shower or when I have breakouts I use the Clinique Foaming Cleanser. It's really gentle and doesn't hurt my skin at all.
Step 3: Face masks
I only use face masks once a week to prevent my skin from having an overload of treatment. I typically use the Freeman face masks because they really clear up and hydrate my skin. You can get them at Walmart for about $5 so they're super affordable.
Step 4: Toner
Toner is used after cleansing to tighten pores and cleanse off the last of the excess dirts and oils, and prevents other contamination or bad substances to get into your skin. Lately I've been using the Clean Beauty Witch Hazel and Rose Water Toner, which smells really good and really keeps my skin cool and clean feeling. Usually I just wipe my face with a cotton round with toner on it, but you can also just use your hands to pat it on.
Step 5: Moisturizer
Moisturizer boosts hydration and brightens the skin. It also prevents flaking and some also have anti-aging ingredients to prevent wrinkles. I usually use the Clinique Moisture Surge, which is actually really hydrating and smooth. It's fragrance-free, like all the Clinique products, and it keeps my skin smooth.
Step 6: Acne Treatment
Acne treatments are applied directly onto places where acne is particularly bad. Having inherited both my parents skin genes, I have acne in a lot of spots on my face, mostly my t-zone. To fix it, I usually use tea tree oil extract, or the Acne Clinical Treatment from Clinique.
Yeah, that's my routine! Please keep in mind I'm not a professional, this is just what I do personally for my skin to keep it healthy!
Thank youuuu. Could you write some make up tips, I really want to wear make up because it looks nice but I can't make it as good as yours. Thanks again.
